The Chateau Marie
Agnese, a beautiful French County home with 3,129 square feet
of casual, comfortable living space is nestled in the center
of this year's Parade of Homes. It was truly designed to be
a home for today's family with its flowing floor plan, room
for entertainment and up to date technology.
Dana Logan and Mark McCaskill of View-Point Construction, Inc.
built the home. Working along with Dana on the interior design
were Todd Preuninger and Debbie Macomb of Comfort Interiors
Design Center of Vancouver. Many local artists will be displaying
their work in this warm and inviting home.
View-Point has established long term relationships with many
of their sub contractors and suppliers and consider many of
them family. They pride themselves on using quality products
and subs to develop and create individualism in each of their
homes. When purchasing a home with View-Point Construction,
Inc. you will receive the help of the designers of Comfort Interiors
to help you with all your needs in selecting colors and products
to be used in your custom home.
Upon entering this home you will immediately see the quality
of workmanship and design. The flooring is 4" Red Birch
planking with inlaid accent designs and feature strips that
create natural separation and definition of space without using
walls, giving you an open living area. Just to the left the
home office features gorgeous beveled glass French doors, crown
molding, coffered ceilings, built in bookshelves, built in speakers
wired for infrared volume control, phone, cable and an information
data port. The entire home is networked together from the media
centers featuring a project TV, plasma TV, stereo systems, security,
and computer stations.
All the cabinets throughout the home are custom made by a local
cabinetmaker, designed from a paint grade product only to be
antiqued by another local artist. Together these two artists
create a beautiful customized piece of art/furniture. Our finish
carpenters are the best in the business. They are very creative
and innovative as you will see with the beautiful arches that
take you into the great room and kitchen/dinette ares that they
themselves created after listening to what Dana envisioned.
The home features a two story great room with floor to ceiling
windows, a wonderful Artisan fireplace and built-in entertainment
center to include a plasma TV with surround sound. The kitchen
is absolutely everyone's dream come true. It is centrally located
to be of the greatest convenience to the cook. It has granite
countertops and tumbled marble backsplashes with beautiful decorative
tiles. It flows into the formal dining room in one direction
through the butler's pantry and to the kitchen nook in the other
direction.
A Romantic master on the main floor offers you a great get away
space with it's 11'6" ceilings and French doors leading
to it's own private patio. The master bath features a floor
to ceiling shower made of 18x18 travertine, spacious jetted
tub, a walk-in closet, and a separate room for the toilet.
The open wrought iron staircase leads the way to the second
floor, which features not only two more bedrooms and a bath,
but also a wonderful in home theater, featuring Up Town Audios
projection TV, wall mount screen, surround sound and built in
speakers.
The architect for the original design of this home was Mascord.
Dana and Mascord worked together to create View-Point's version
of this home. We hope that you will enjoy your time while previewing
our home. We are very proud of our vision and believe you will
love what you see. Come and join us at Parade of Homes 2002. |
